    Netflix app crashing Xbox 360


    Hi,

    I have started the xbox today (December 23rd 2018) and Netflix.

    It prompted me to install an update.

    I did.

    Now launching the app brings a black screen and crashes/freezes the console.

    Any ideas on how to fix this, can I uninstall the update perhaps?

    1st I will delete the app from the xbox and and hard reset the xbox

    2 second i will try to sign in on another device to see is the problem continues if not sign in again on the xbox again and try it sometimes is not the xbox and is nextflix that have the app on maintenance

    I would try uninstalling the app and any related content in its folder completely. Then do a fresh installation and let it update. Maybe the update was corrupted.

    I'd like to add that I too have noticed that Netflix is notoriously bad with crashing and resuming etc.

    It's ever since they updated a good few months ago... Or well "updated" might be the wrong word. See, there was the original Netflix Xbox One app that didn't have many errors, but I guess people preferred the 360 version, because for whatever reason they
    decided to port the 360 Netflix app right over. I guess since it wasn't really designed for XB1, it has more errors.

    Netflix video freeze when snapped

    I found a temporary fix if you have a 360 and an extra HDMI chord plug the xbox 360 HDMI into the xbox one

    And then use the Netflix app on the 360

    Go to your xbox one and instead of snapping the "Netflix" app snap the TV app

    And voila

    Help error code storage

    This error appears for me when trying to open the Netflix app on Xbox, causing it to crash. Doesn't appear anywhere else but Netflix. I've seen people on Reddit saying they're seeing the same error for Netflix app too.

    The solution above does not work. What else can you suggest to fix this?
