    Netflix app being slow


    My netflix app has been slow to start up, and quite sluggish during usage. Slow to sign in, slow to load, and tedius with playback occasionally (freezing, buffering, app completly stopping). Tried resetting the xbox, Tried port forwarding, and uninstalling
    and reinstalling the app.

    Issues With Apps

    I just noticed that Netflix has "split" so to speak, into Netflix and "Netflix for kids"; I wonder if that might have something to do with the Netflix app slowing down?

    I've been having the same issue in the last 2 days on both my Xbox One and my Google TV. It must be on their end.

    Netflix app being slow

    Guys here is what you need to do.

    Step One: Uninstall Movies & TV App, Netflix and BluRay Player.

    Step Two: Change your console settings from instant on to power saving mode.

    Step Three: Hold the power button down on your console until the white light on the adapter turns orange.

    Step Four: Unplug the console and television set from the wall and wait five minutes.

    Step Five: Plug the devices back in and power them up.

    Step Six: Reinstall, Netflix, Movies & TV and BluRay

    This will fix the errors you are experiencing.

    Unplug Xbox ONE<Unplug Router<Wait for lights to return as normal on router(whatever normal looks like)<Turn Xbox ONE back on.

    Exact same issue...no problems with my 360 though...I haven't been able to get anything better than 480p followed by frequent buffering on my super stable fiber

    Same issue here. My wife complains all the time about the quality of the video of Netflix on Xbox One.. wants me to hook back up the 360. Hulu looks beautiful. I'm beginning to think that its not a problem with my internet
