    Netflix and Xbox one app controller not working


    The Xbox one Xbox app will not properly control the Netflix app. The "a" button and scrolling options do not work on any device or with smartglass. You must use the Xbox one physical controller or voice commands to navigate the app. This needs fixed immediately.

    the lovefilm app and the netflix app for xbox one are not working they wont even load up is there currently a issue with these services

    Error code x7053-1807

    None of the apps on my Xbox One will start. I get a message saying that the app took too long to start. I tried Friends, Settings, Netflix, Youtube, and several others. Signing in by Kinect is working, but signing in via controller behaves just like the
    others.

    Its not the hardware controller that's the problem... its the app controller that allows you to control Netflix from within the Xbox and smartglass app. The "a" touch button and scrolling do not work. The physical hardware Xbox controller works fine.

    This still appears to be a problem, for what it's worth.

    The SmartGlass app on my Surface 4 does not work within Netflix for Select or to Scroll. Other butons within the app's Remote work.

    Voice commands, the standard Xbox controller, and my Xbox One Media remote all work. It's just SmartGlass that doesn't, which is disappointing that this is still an issue over 6mos after this was first reported and summarily ignored.

    With the Netflix update, parental control blocks the Netflix app. Before, parental control blocked individual movies on Netflix which is how it should work.

    Netflix and Hulu voice commands not working.

    I'm running into the same problem on two Xbox One consoles. Both consoles have been restarted via the settings menu, and I've killed and restarted the Netflix and Hulu apps. The voice commands to control playback work, but navigation in the app is gone entirely.
