    I have set screen time limits for my son, but when his time runs out he simply switches to Netflix because it doesn't require sign in. Is this a Microsoft issue or a Netflix issue?

    Let’s approach this from different angle, instead of limiting specific apps. The xbox is a glorified PC,
    is there a way to set up security settings so all users are forced to login to a account before they can access anything on the xbox?

    Think Login screen for a Windows Computer, where you must enter a user name and password.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on screen time limits for apps. Unfortunately, the apps will not work as they can be signed out to watch them. For the

    screen time     to work they need to be logged into the profile that the time is set for.

    Parental Controls (Screen Time) and Netflix

    I do not believe that the Netflix app is actually controlled by the Xbox Screen time limits. This would be because Netflix does not actually sign into Xbox Live but rather the Netflix servers.

    Are you allowed to use the console at all such as for netflix or anything else with the screen time limits on or does that completely make the console useless? Could he be accessing his account on his phone?
