    same issue, alot of people seem to be having this issue. netflix, hulu and media player (maybe more, i only use these) when i say, "xbox play" it gives the message "Can't Play From Here", it also cant fast forward, rewind or pause. if i say "xbox select"
    first to bring up the options, it works. it seems like they have removed the quick options and just left the, "xbox select" option. i presume it's on purpose and it's to reduce accidental commands. if that is the case, please tell me so i can start a petition
    to get them back, lol.

    Sorry, for not following up regarding my power cycle attempt sooner. It did solve my problem and I have not had the issue since. Thanks for your help Maka

    Odd that this is still popping up for you. Since this began have you tried deleting the app and re-installing it to see if there is any change in voice command performance?

    I'm a quadriplegic and have no use of my hands. I am sick of xbox not dealing with this issue!!!!!! I DON'T HAVE THE OPTION TO PUSH BUTTONS ON THE CONTROLLER! The only reason I got the xbox one was because it offered voice control of my Netflix. They blame
    each other! Microsoft blames Netflix and it just goes in circles! I'm wondering if another option would be more user friendly. Maybe I will try a Sony product since nobody here seems to care!
