Netflix, Amazon Prime crashing XBOX one X

Hello,

As soon as Netflix, Amazon Prime app is launched on xbox one X, the device crashes a few times, xbox can only be powered up manually, sometimes this happens consecutively 2-3 times before working fine. It has become extremely annoying :-(

Has anyone seen this issue and know how to fix ?

I use all of these services on my XBOX Fat (first version of the console) and never had this problem. It seems that it is something from the X Series regarding the hardware together with the video codecs.

Have you tried to reinstall all those apps?

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand your console powers off when launching these apps. Is this the only time it happens? We recommend first try a

power cycle of the console and then re-launch one of the apps when it is back on. If that doesn't work try uninstalling the apps and re-install them.

Unfortunately none of these are helping :-( I still see XBOX one X crash when I click on a 4K content playback, same thing on Amazon also. Wondering if there is still an issue with EDID for 4K TVs.
