Net work connection?

I suffer from insomnia and I spend a lot of late night/early morning time with my XBOX 360. The problem is every night while watching you tube video's, I get dropped from my XBOX live connection. Has anyone else had this experience and/or knows why this
happens?

Net work problems

Every time i try to join a party it says that and i quote "can't connect to the xbox live party. There may be network problems." I checked my network it was perfectly fine what do i do?

 

2 net work adapters?

my garage is not around the house, it is 400 ft from the house. Other side of the road. Has anyone used a wifi booster? Which is the best?

 

Couple of things here.

Does this happen every night around the same time? Have you tried doing a hard reset on your router/modem? I would also contact your ISP to see if there are any packet loss issues or network issues during that time.

Thanks for your response. This happens at different times of the early mornings, like 2 or 3 am and other times after that. I would use your information if I had a clue about computer functions. Again, thanks for your response.

This happens to me some times around 3am. I figured it was my isp resetting or something, if that's even a thing. Could it be getting hot maybe?

 

You'll have to check with your ISP to see what their policy or schedule of maintenance work is however any maintenance work is usually done in the middle of the night (typically between 2 to 4 AM). YMMV but for my cable ISP and the infrastructure provider,
maintenance periods usually only occur once in awhile and aren't a daily occurrence.

If you use a cable provider and the node is oversubscribed then that may also be contributory to daily resets. Maybe multiple people are scheduling large downloads overnight and that may cause problems for all on the node if the total exceeds the available
bandwidth.
