    Neither the xbox app or the console companion app are working for me at this point


    I'm struggling over here. Bad. I normally stream my Xbox through my laptop (Lenovo Legion AMD Ryzen 5) with zero issues. I do this while my wife watches TV as to not be selfish and make her watch me play games. As of the last week or so, neither app is working for me anymore. I constantly get the message that the apps cannot connect to my device. Both are on the same network. I generally stream with no problems. I do not understand what has happened. This is incredibly frustrating/disheartening. Can someone shed some light on this situation please? I am pulling my hair out having to watch romcoms and dramas.

    Xbox games aren't installing on Windows

    Sigh, first make sure the app "xbox console companion" is uninstalled. Then make sure the "xbop" app is installed.

    You will want to go into the ms store app. Find the forza store page. On the page itself it will say update. When you click that update button it will then open the "Xbox" App. Where it will take you to the store page on the "xbox" app. Then an update button will appear there. You click that and the game will download.

    Skipping right to the "xbox" app has not worked for me.

    My Xbox app isn't functioning at all.

    I have been logged in on the Console Companion, it's working fine. When I pressed the Launch App button in the Console Companion, It opened the Xbox app with a sign in button, however it didn't work.

    So basically uninstalled steam and reinstalled it. Then reinstalled Gears 5. Xbox game bar doesnt work. Neither does the xbox app (beta) download. Signed in on a microsoft online page have xbox console companion Open and still nothing.

    Best experience of my life.

    Yeah, Phoenix_Reins is correct with this, the Xbox console companion app only works with the Xbox One. There is no app that connects to the Xbox 360.
