needing Kinect to steam on twitch?

do ya need a kinect connected to stream on twitch as when i start the stream it goes to checking connecting then just goes back to the start stream page again

You definitely don't need to use it as in have it actively broadcasting you, during Broadcast setup you can disable Kinect and Microphone or a combination of the two.

However, I don't know if the Kinect needs to be at least plugged in to your console. Would seem odd if it does.

Thats what i was wondering, cuz maybe thats why it does that?

I can confirm that you do not need the Kinect plugged in at all to broadcast.

 

Twich dosen't work still and i have 14 friends that cant get it working, anyone hear when they where lookin to get the bugs out? (if thats what it is)
