Need to Use my Xbox one banned Console Offline

HI

After a chat session I was told to reset my console to factory settings to troubleshoot a connection issue, now we found that the console is

actually banned and I cant finish the initial set up thus I cant even use it offline.

I understand its my right to use the console offline but MS is not letting me complete the initial set up so in the end I cant actually use the

console, I need some help with this issue.

my original Xbox One S was console banned because my younger cousins bought FIFA accounts that breached the Xbox terms of use.

Therefore I had to buy a new console. The console ban was supposed to stop users playing online and therefore cheating. And my girlfriend wanted an Xbox to play offline, so I gave it to her but there Is no account on the console as my one was deleted at
some point.

Some games seem to require her to be signed into an account but the banned console doesn't let you add accounts:// need help with adding an account!!! all she wants to do is play offline.

 

Blu ray doesn't work offline is BS

You can certainly use the Blu-ray player app offline. It's possible it needs an update prior to this though. To use the app offline as well as other functions of the console, you'll just need to put the console in Offline Mode and here's how.

As you are well aware, the console will not be able to connect to the Xbox Live servers to update. However, you may be able to update this console offline with a USB Flashdrive and the Offline Update Tool HERE.
This should allow you to get to the Dashboard again.

Can you give that a shot and let us know if you were able to update the console offline?

I have actually tried everything, the console shows its updated to Julys 29th Update and this is actually what makes me upset, the only reason why the console does not go to the Dashboard is because MS does not want to.

The console has to go through the initial set up and heres where MS is not doing things right taking advantage of their policy to render the console useless as it can not connect to the servers, this should not be this way, there has to be a way for people
to use their consoles offline, Your online policy can not render a console useless, it has to allow it to work offline.

So I want the enforcement team or someone to take a look into this, all I want is to use the console offline as it does look like its banned.

It just does not make any sense, to apply the online policies to consoles that are doomed to only work offline!

Yes I do, I get the message every time I try to initialize the console.

Basically the console starts and asks for language, then locale, then it makes you choose the internet connection, sometimes after connecting it prompts the Console is banned.

Right after that stage, it goes to the "Lets Update" which will always fail (Because MS does not allow the console to connect to the server)

Sometimes it says its banned once you go to "Check Connection" after the "Lets update" fails.

So the console is now useless, a chat representative said thats the way it is and nothing they can do, which is disappointing to say the least.

To clarify, after doing that offline update. Do you have any Ethernet cables attached to the console to the point where the console would try to connect to the Internet and Xbox Live? If so, remove that Ethernet cable and try again to see if you can get
past this screen.

The Big issue is the console is designed to make it impossible to do the initial set up without internet, even though the Console is updated to the latest (I did the offline updates) It will not let you skip the connecting to the MS servers, if you do not
have a connection, it will ask you to add one. I did try to set it without the internet connection but it will again get you stuck in that step of adding a valid connection.
