Need to pay to change name after being reported

I got banned for a not racist name and now I have to pay to change it to something other than a randomly generated name.

My gamertag got reported for being inappropriate and Microsoft changes it to a default name. Do I have to pay in order to change it now?

I didn't break the rules, they misinterpreted my name and thought it was racist.

Forced name changes don't just occur because of racist but sexual and m rated topics

Best policy just go with rated e for everyone names

They didn't misinterpret anything. They are very thorough when looking into it. If they say it was in violation then it was in violation.

 

If forced name changes only occur because of sexual and m rated topics, then my name shouldn't have been changed. It was [Mod Removed]. That is not sexual or m rated. Its a play on the Dark Knight Rises.

FYI it's not how you see your name but how others do That is the issue People see it very bad especially because of the word in the middle That word is rarely used

 

That is an extremely racist & offensive gamertag,it's no wonder it got changed.

 

i took his name in the wrong way im happy it got changed
