    Need to open ports for 10>Xbox streaming


    Have a FIOS Quantum Router with a Amplifi HD Mesh Router. Need to ensure ports are open for streaming from Windows 10 -> Xbox One S. Do I have to open ports on both routers or just the Amplifi HD that both are connected to? If so, how do I do it?

    i have contacted xbox and they said i need to contact my broadband to open these port which i did contact my broadband and they said i need to pay £10 a month to open them which i'm not because i pay £30 month for the broadband

    NAT type stuck on strict

    You need to open your NAT on your router. There are 2 ways to this. Some sophisticated smart routers have a gaming preference, which will automatically open ports for you. If you do not have this option, you need to port forward the ports for xbox. You will
    need to open the following ports :

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    If the above hasn’t worked please try the following.

    To help your xbox to connect to xbox live and all the features including mixer (the streaming service) which is on your xbox one.

    Please make sure these ports are open or it will affect your gaming & streaming experiance.

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)

    You can find a full list of the ports that need open in the guide below.

    Your laptop would need to have an HDMI-in port rather than an HDMI-out port. Unfortunately most laptops on the market don't include an HDMI-in. If you have Windows 10 and your laptop has the supporting hardware you can stream your Xbox One through your home
    network.
