NEED TO MAKE MORE FISHING GAMES

Guys if you don't like a fishin game stay off it. Don't make an insult of those game types. How would you like it if you liked a type that was made an insult? Do not make an insult about a different game type. Those types you few mentioned have nothing to
do with fishing. This post is abou fishing games and just because the few here don't like it,don't mean it wouldn't make it sooner or later,so stop the insults and stay on target. You either like a fishing game or you don't. It don't mean make a insult on
them. Real fishing is good too,but it's no different than any other game type,virtue reality. Zelda and GOW isn't a fishing game.Go look for the definition of fishing if you call that fishing.

Cabela's,and Bass Pro Shops have hunting and fishing games, Unfortuneatly hunting and fishing games are poorly made and have no story. So it's not a priority to make an awesome game.There main sales come from weapons,and fishing supplies.The games are more
of an advertisement then anything else.Maybe and i mean maybe in the future the Kinect will have hunting and fishing games,that use light guns and fishing rods to make the games a little better. Look up the Phantom console on You Tube.What a stupid console.Look
up the Vectrex on You Tube and that will blow your mind. The Vectrex was a console from 1982 that allowed 3D gaming.Did you know that the first modem for a console was made for believe it or not the Atari! But Bell Telephone shut it down when Bell had a monopoly
on the phone lines.

Going by the screens on the store this looks more like course fishing & not lure fishing that you usually get in games.

Least you wont get covered in fish slime

I'm not hating on fishing games in general, I simply meant that out of the fishing games I've played on the Wii or previous generations of consoles, the gameplay was not good at all. It was too hard or too easy to hook and land a fish. I think that fishing
is a sport that just doesn't translate to controllers very well. If they ever made a very realistic fishing game, I'd be interested sure. Having online tournaments would be cool but imo the gameplay needs to be very good or that kind of game won't last very
long. That kind of game doesn't have a wide appeal so no big name company will touch that genre, leaving low budget companies to make the low quality games that are out there.

More indie friendly means more indie games, more indie games means a larger revenue stream for the few that are hits.

Think of it like a fisherman, a larger net my get you more fish even fish you may not want but you are betting on getting more fish of the kind you do want ( profitable).

Why MS has the policy they have I don't know maybe they just don;t think that a lot of indie games are worth the hassle, Maybe they think that by getting only a few serious indie companies that are willing to put their money where their mouth is so to speak
that they will have a superior product over the one that are unwilling or unable.

Maybe they are hoping that Sony's willingness to take on indie games will backfire on them. Who knows for sure.

Fisherman would be happy to get more fish even if he doesn't need some of them,as all of them can be sold, even if cheaper rather then getting less of the fish he wants and no other fish. MS is not only pushing away the fish it doesn't need but also fishes
it would need. It's not that some indies can't put money behind their words, it's the fact that MS is forcing a publisher leech on them. As such even indies that might have brought more successes will be turned off by x1. PS4 on the other hand even if it gets
a lot more bad indie games will still be more successful in this department. As people will not remember it for bad indie games but for the good ones.
