Need to go back to the last update at least make the home button bring u to Xbox home,

I don't like the new update. I've talked to a lot of my friends and nobody really likes how the home screen is. I want to be able hit the home button on my controller and it brings me to Xbox home without having to swipe and then hit A. Very would appreciate
if Xbox Takes into consideration thank you

Get back to the home page on Windows 8 Music app

Hey Paladin! So when you navigate a Windows 8 app, go do something else, and then come back to the app, its essentially like you minimized it, so when you re-open it, it will bring you back to your last location. If you want it to go to the home screen,
you either need to close the app completely, or manually navigate back too it. Unfortunately there is no "Home" button within the app itself.

PLEASE HELP! I want out of the program preview

to all that are having a problem with the latest preview release and EA games not working anymore, the fix is real simple. go to settings system update and press LB,RB,LT,RT at the same time to bring up dev mode. click on reset home console and restart you
xbox. now boot up an EA title back out to the dashboard press the menu button to quit the game and then make your xbox your home console again and VOILA. I take claim for this workaround.

Sorry to hear you don't like the new system. It does take some getting used to. However, you don't have to swipe over to go to the Home screen. Simply tap the Guide button then press A twice to do it.

Same here, just updated my Xbox last night, everytime I start it up it only shows a black screen... Pressing home button only brings the shutdown menu, if I choose "report a problem" it shows the Xbox Feedback screen but then goes back to black

Hey All,

How did you access the game when you first got stuck? If you go through the games store tab and select a game from there you can then press B to go back and search others. the home button will only bring you to the home screen after viewing the game and
selecting that main tile it will bring you back to where you last left off.

Try accessing games through that tab and let us know how it goes.
