Need to get my account, desperate for help!

Hello!

I say the word ''desperate'', because I am in a very awkward position right now. I used to be a huge Xbox 360 gamer and as of today, I've decided to buy the new Xbox One and use my old account, however, this is where it gets a bit tricky. Back in around 2008,
I bought my Xbox 360 and when I registered, I used my e-mail, [Mod Removed], however, the e-mail provider does not exist anymore. Back then, you didn't need to have a Microsoft account to have an Xbox account if I recall correctly. So, this
has left me very frustrated, because every support method requires me to have a Microsoft e-mail. I tried to find a way to log in with my gamertag and my password, but doesn't seem like you can do that anymore. My gamertag is ernests77. ( Sign in to your Microsoft account )

Now, how can I proof that this is really me? Well, on my PC I used to play videogames through Windows Live too and I am STILL logged in there. I will provide screenshots below. I also know the e-mail adress I'm registered on, which is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

Why don't I just create a new one? Because I've put countless hours into achievements and completion of every game.

Why don't you contact our Support? Because it requires to have a some sort of Error Code and the fields where it says ''name and surname'' are not available for me. I can't write in them, even if they require me ot have this information.

I am very desperate for help, because this account was pretty much my childhood and I'd like to use it still, but on your new console.

Desperately need help!

I only opened it up BECAUSE it stopped working. And I had followed that exact tutorial on replacing the x-clamp but i'm not entirely sure if I have the 0002 error code. All I know is that when i press the small button on the xbox it goes to all four lights flashing and then to one of the four lights flashing if this even means anything.

Fun fun! Let me know if you're able to fix it. Glad to hear you were able to figure out what was wrong. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can fix it. We have two old style xboxes (with HDMI) that thankfully (knock on wood) haven't died yet.

If that is the email address that is tied to the account, you should still be able to sign in using that email. Since it's been online, you've definitely been able to sign in using an email address for it.

If you need to change the email address for the accounts, you can do that as well -

support.xbox.com/.../change-email-sign-in-for-microsoft-account

The fields to contact support are usually auto poplulated with the information you find at
http://account.live.com If it's not working, you can contact them by phone. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada.

@xNoyZx - You will need to contact XBOX Support for your region for any changes to account information such as a parental e-mail now being on the account when it wasn't. Unfortunately there's no one that would be able to take that off for you but they might
be able to help you out with finding out what the e-mail is, and it's quite possible that the e-mail was on there by you or someone that was using the account at anytime. Usually a parental e-mail is only put on the account when the account is first opened
as it goes by the date of birth of the person signing up for the account if they are considered too young to join themselves.

Here's the thing. This is the same exact account i've had since xbox live first came out on the original xbox. I Never had to put in a parents e-mail. After my account was hacked and I got it back this child account thing is locked and I get a family pack
error code when I try to promote it and when I try to switch stuff I get some *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, I have never been apart of a family pack for xbl. My account was 100% just fine until all of this happened and it's taken almost 6 months so far and it's still in shambles.

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately, once a birth date has been set on the account you cannot remove or change it. The account must age naturally. Contact phone support and tell them you want the auto renewal turned off. If they cannot do it for you then
have one of your parents hop on the phone for you.

Hey xNoyZx - we can definitely understand the frustration. We would echo Hassassinade's recommendation that you contact Phone Support in your region so that they can help you remove the lock on your account.
