Need to disconnect/remove a Xbox Account from a Microsoft Account

in order to play digital games you would need to have the account associated with the games that were purchased and you were trying to play. You can play them while disconnected from the internet but you do need to have said account set as your
home Xbox in the personalization settings.

Alternatively you can play physical games without being online.

If you need to remove an account, it is possible by going into settings > account > remove accounts.

Unfortunately the Microsoft account the digital game was purchased under needs to be linked to the system in order to play the game you purchased. As long as that account is set as the home Xbox via settings > Personalization > my home Xbox then you can
play the game with any other Microsoft account attached to the system.

Hi, you can try disconnecting the profile from all devices. This will not remove the account, but you will need to log in if you want to continue playing with it. You can do this from the security settings on the Xbox site.

Thanks for getting back to us. Currently, we don't have a way to choose to remove the account from all your devices. If you would like to remove your account from any device you would have to
manually go and choose to remove the account through the device.

To Remove your Microsoft account from your devices:

Go to Settings
> Accounts > Your account

Tap or click Disconnect my Microsoft account, and restart the device



One thing we have available is to remove the devices from your Microsoft account when you
sign in through our Device section online, (ex; if you registered an Xbox One S on your account it will show up under your devices section)this will allow you to
remove the device from the account but this doesn't remove your account from the device.

If your Microsoft account has been hacked and you no longer have access to it, you may not be able to disconnect it from your PS4 directly. However, you can take a few steps to try to regain control of your account and prevent any further unauthorized access.
