    Need to change the email on my Xbox account as unable to sign in


    So my Xbox bugged out and factory reset itself. When I created my account I had a different phone number and a different email, both of which I no longer have access to. I need to change my Xbox account to my current email and phone number but am completely unable to access my account

    It says I must change my settings to allow the purchase, but my email is the main email for my account, I have tried to get my parents to sign on with there email and it won't let them, I tried to change my setting with that link but it says a parent needs

    Hey there, Flyer! The only way to change your email address that is associated with your Xbox Live account is through

    your Xbox 360    . You can also
    change the alias     which will let you sign in with another email. Your Gold should transfer over.

    If you are unable to sign in to this account anywhere, then it may be that the entire account has been deactivated, and we will be unable to recover that. If you are still being charged for Xbox Live Gold, you will need to contact support using the link
    the Smwutches posted above to have that removed.

    For help with activating your Microsoft account again, you will need to stay in contact with
    Microsoft Support for Account and billing. To get assistance, you will need to be signed in to an active Microsoft account.
