Need to change my location in my settings to purchase in the microsoft store

The subscriptions I bought were for UK/EU. However, when I redeemed on redeem.microsoft.com it said United States next to my email address.

I've checked my Microsoft account location and it was set to United states by mistake. I've now changed it to UK. Now if I go to redeem.microsoft.com it says United Kingdom next to email address.

However, it still appears my Xbox Live has been claimed as a USA subscription as the amount to set recurring billing says $9.99. If I try upgrade, I am taken to the UK upgrade page but cannot proceed as I am asked to change my Microsoft store location. If I change to USA I can progress up to the payment screen, but cannot complete payment as my card is a UK card and it says the store location and payment location needs to be the same.

But I do need to change my location settings to Australia to be able to purchase new games and movies from the Australia Store. Otherwise, it asks for a US billing address (which i dont have) to be supplied with Credit Card details for the purchase.

I just want to use the same credit card/same billing location I have my monthly Game Pass Ultimate subscription service on to buy games/rent movies with.

I'm not keen to buy a new console for a service issue I didn't create - when I know mechanically it runs fine apart from this one setting relating to using a default country store.

Just to be clear, when you use Settings>System>Language and location on the console is the location set to Australia?

The store settings for the Xbox One console are based on your systems location (under settings>system>language&location). If your purchasing from your Xbox One in Brazil. You can change your system location, by setting your location to Czech Republic.
Then you should have no issue purchasing games in your currency.

Hello everyone.

I want Forza to be in English and not in my native language (it might be weird, but that is what I want)

There is no option in the game to change it, and my language settings in Windows are set to English, except for the location which was needed to be set to my actual location for the store to work properly.

My question is, is there any way to change the language?

Hi, it is possible that your language is not supported in the game. If you're sure your language is in the game, you can help it in this way:

Xbox One - How to change the language settings

Press the menu key of the controller.

Go to Settings> System.

Go to the Location section and select "Language & location".

Use the "Language" menu to make your selection.
