Need to change my gamertag (never use) and have to pay

Hi, I want to change my gamertag (i play forza horizon 3 on pc), I never change it.

It said I already change it, so I have to pay 9.99€ ...

I never use a xbox 360 or one.

I just buy Xbox Elite controller and then buy forza horizon 3 and I got this weird gamertag than I never wanted.

I also buy a Lenovo Explorer but I never change anything.

I purchased an Xbox One X. My GamerTag is " demonroe." I never created this gamertag. The Gamertag automatically populated from my hotmail email address.. When I try to change my gamertag, I am told I need to pay a fee. I never assigned myself the current
gamertag. For someone who was not given an option to create a gamertag why do i have to pay to change it?

I've tried to change my gamertag because my son is going to use the Xbox one.

But it says that I have to pay for that.

I've never changed it before and I know that I can chnge it without paying one time.

So why do I have to pay if I never changed. My actual Gamertag, was automatically created a few years ago.

You will have to pay if you want ti change your tag. The free change is only given if you were given a randomly generated tag when you signed up and are changing that tag for the first time. The tag you are posting with, is not a randomly generated tag.

Someone did.As Smwutches said,the gamertag you are posting with is not a randomly generated one so the any other changes will need to be paid for.
