Need to buy new power supply

The 360 power supply is not world wide compatible. You will need to buy a new power supply. Your local XBOX support phone contact should be able to help.

Is there a way that I could change the power supply without sending it in for repairs or buying a new console? Also, is there a way to test if the power supply is 100% the problem? My parents are not sure and need proof.

If it is the original Xbox One with the separate
power supply then you will need to obtain a new power supply suitable for use in the US. If your console is one of the newer Xbox One S or Xbox One X consoles then all you will need to do is obtain a new power cable.

So does Microsoft have a power supply with 220v that I could buy?

Before you buy a new power supply, it MAY be that your power supply is simply overheating. Check all the ventilation holes for obstructions/dust, and give it a clean. Also make sure that it's in a place where air can freely circulate around it to keep
it cool - if this doesn't work then it would seem that you do indeed need a new power supply.

Try plugging the Xbox into a new outlet, if it still doesn't work with another outlet then try to borrow a power supply (the xbox's brick) and plug that into another outlet. If that still doesn't work then you may need to buy another power supply. Remember
that power supplies from the original Xbox360 is not compatible with the Xbox slim.
