Need Tier 3 support!

Just got off phone with Xbox customer support and the supervisor recommended I contact Tier 3 support for my problem. It is a gamer tag issue and I was hoping someone could contact me at my email associated with my account. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're
my only hope!

I'm sorry to hear about these problems, but unfortunately the people at the forums can't really do anything about this issue.

Also this is a support forum, which is used for questions and issues the people here can solve. The problem you are having (not having received the console and repair etc) is something you will need to contact Xbox Support about, and you might want to also
post this in the feedback forums so Microsoft will be able to act on it, so it won't happen in the future.

 

Need Tier 3 Agent help. Glitch in the system.

"Come to the forums to get help from a Tier 3 agent"? No. You can only get to Tier 3 by being escalated from Tier 1. You need to contact support again.

The forums are community support, they are barely monitored by MS.

 

Ummm. People who post here are just gamers like yourself. Support is handled through the phones.

That being said. What seems to be the issue. Perhaps there's something we gamers can help you with.

 

I guess I'll call Xbox support again. They told me the only way to get Tier 3 support is through these forums. It's an account/gamertag issue so I doubt you can help, but thank you for replying.

You don't contact tier 3 you file a case and it us sent upto them

If you are wanting a free gamer tag change then nope

 

Naa... I think this one is about the "gamertag release" fiasco.

 

You mean you want a name to be released that isn't yours nope tier 3 won't help you because a it is random and gamertag are not an on demand service when it becomes available it becomes available

As people do try and sell released names it is unannounced when they do if ever release certain gamertags

 

m8 tier can do anything they own the service can they can bypass if it was your old gt but in ur case not

 

I think the weirdest thing is him getting told that you contact them here. LOL. Oh my goodness....

It seems to be pretty common for people to be sent here for issues that the forums have nothing to do with, I'm not certain if it's incompetence or survey avoidance.
