Need some Help - Getting free game

Hey. i'm new to xbox and I used a code that came with fifa 16, a 2 day trial of Xbox live Gold. Its working because I have been playing online. But when I went in the Gold section of the store to get WWE 2k16 for free, I was not able to do so. When I selected
"Get for free with Gold" the screen became blurry and kept going to another screen. I went and checked in my games and apps to see if its in the download que, nothing. What am I not doing?

Games with gold

What's up with getting some Need For Speed or GTA Vice City on free games with gold?

You can not get games on the Games with Gold using a trial membership. You must have a full Gold Membership to get the free games.

Hey OP, you could always just play the game for fun and not waste your time boosting achievements that are completely meaningless anyways. Just a suggestion.

Also just because I have 53 of my games 100% out of 118 doesn't mean I modded them. I have a friend who has a higher gamerscore than me and he never modded them. Also if i would have modded them I would have modded them all. why would I make it so I have
so many unfinished games.
