Need some advice on weapon crafting.

OK so upfront I'll say this - i'm very confused with how to craft weapons but there are enough youtube vids and web pages discussing that so i'm sure i'll eventually figure it out.

What i want to know is - when am I going to have enough resources to be able to craft a weapon? I know you do it at the Bench, but i'm on chapter 4 and it says i don't have enough resources to really craft anything (all i've been able to do so far is create
a frame).

I've been collecting everything possible, stomping all the bodies and crates and i'm wondering if i'm missing something or is it just too early in the game?

^ I never crafted any weapons myself. Just moded the Deliverer, I did do some crafting but only for cheevo purposes. I would say 4 is playable with no crafting.

 

I believe it's still fairly early on honestly. Just keep doing what your doing and when you finally get a Scavenger Bot always make sure you send it out when your next to a resource rich area, it will bring you back TONS of resources

 

Scavenger bot... nope haven't got that yet. Thanks, your answer is pretty much what i needed to hear. Good to know there'll be a windfall of loot coming soon to help with this. Cheers

 

No prob, if I remember correctly you end up with 3 bots eventually so you should always be able to keep resources. Good luck & enjoy
