    Need Set-up help for 360 + Windows Media Center + Windows 10 laptop


    I would like some help on setting up so my 360 and Windows 10 laptop can play together via WMC, went to xbox.com/pcsetup and clicked on the Setup button but nothing happened...any suggestions??

    im trying to set up windows media center for my xbox with my laptop that i use at home but my laptop will not recognize the extender number i have checked my laptop windows firewall and my router is enabled to allow UPnP but still wont work please help lol
    really want my playlist on my xbox lol

    I'm trying to set my 360 up in the windows media center but I'm having trouble doing so. Needed some more info if anyone could help. I have an Asus laptop and a wireless home internet connection but not sure if I have the right software or what to do
    the connecting. Please help.

    Hey there Bubba91856.

    Windows 10 no longer uses Windows Media Center. If you have content on your laptop, you can right click the content and select Play-To in order to play the content from an Xbox console connected to the same network.

    Windows 10 no longer uses Windows Media Center. If you have content on your laptop, you can right click the content and select Play-To in order to play the content from an Xbox console connected to the same network.

    I'm really sorry to hear you're having issues sharing media with your laptop.

    It sounds like you've tried some stuff already but just to double check, there are a couple of things that I would suggest trying these articles on:

    Troubleshooting the connection between Windows Media Center and your Xbox 360

    Setting up Windows Media Center on Xbox 360

    If those don't help sort things out, I would suggest getting in touch with our
    Windows 8.1 Support    . They may have some further insight into this issue.
