Need Profile to Sign into Forza 3

Please help - I'm signed into Microsoft account also have the Xbox app signed into and am hitting play from Xbox app but forza 3 horizons still says I need profile to sign in and play game - never had problem before then all of sudden whammo no more game
playing for you - why must it be so difficult to play a game you own - If it makes a difference am playing from Win 10 - please let me know what I need to do or accomplish to play game? Thanks for your time!

Xbox and Games can't sign in

Hi guys, I could play forza horizon 3 and sign into xbox app until today. It gives me an error (0x409) 0x80080300 and it says that I can't sign in now while forza horizon 3 says that I should sign into an account to play. What can i do?

For this issue, let's have you try resetting the Xbox App on your Windows 10 PC by performing the following steps:

Open the settings app.

Navigate to System.

In the system sub-menu, navigate to Apps and Features.

Search for the app in question.

After selecting the app, select advanced options.

Tap reset.

Once you sign back into your account on the App, are you still prompted with this error message when you try to launch this game?

Thanks for the advice, however I followed your steps above and then reopened Xbox app and allowed it to sign in again and still get the error of needing a profile to sign in? May have worked in past, but is not solving or fixing the error for me.

Have you also tried signing out of your account on the PC and then sign back in? Would you be able to upload a picture of the error that you are encountering when you try to launch this game?

Forza's exact error message is:

SIGN IN NEEDED

You may not proceed without being signed in to a profile

You need a second controller and bind it to a guest

However to get game saves you must have a profile assigned to the guest as only the primary would be able to save

Guest accounts are only secondary temporary profiles

This is why a real profile is needed to be lijnked

To a forza hub accounr

Guest profiles can only br played while the primary account must be signed in on a controller

And guest has to be on the second controller or first but only one profile can only be on one controller at a time

If you want not to be on the primary you MUST make an online account and be signed into forza hub
