    Hello i have a question.

    My xbox one live status is open

    status =your network is behind a cone nat. so thats ok

    But when i play ghosts my nat is moderate.

    Can i use IP Address Pass-through by MAC Address and then it is open.

    Is this a better way to do it or must i do port forwarding ??

    NAT Type-getting info...

    Hello, its been a year since i bought the XBOX and ive been experiencing a problem since the beginning. The reason im getting a support so late, is because i just discovered what the problem is, and it is my NAT type.

    I know there are 3 types of nat, the thing is, mine is sometimes OPEN (which is supposed to be the one i have), sometimes its just stuck on "getting info..." and after a while it says "not used". There is also a link like .com/xboxone/teredo and it also
    says "All services available."

    It is totally random that it decides to be open, or gets stuck saying getting info. But when i eject the wire cable to my modem, its always open no problem, but i have to use wired connection for a way better experience. I also cant
    use xbox group system because it wont let me talk or listen due to my nat being confused.

    I still cant figure out what to do to get my nat open, rather than "getting info" when i use cable. I tried a lot of solutions, including the ones you'll probably link me, but they DO NOT work.

    Any ideas are appriciated though.

    My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

    I personally favor IP pass through via MAC Address over port forwarding any day of the week. That should change the NAT in ghosts. I usually see this happen when someone is connected to a router, that is connected to a gateway (router/modem combination device).

    COD Ghosts uses non-standard ports. Forward ports 3075 and 3076 UDP and TCP to your One to get open NAT in Ghosts.

    COD Ghosts uses non-standard ports. Forward ports 3075 and 3076 UDP and TCP to your One to get open NAT in Ghosts.

    Minecraft Nat type

    On PlayStation, Nat Type 2 is essentially what you want. NAT 3 is... well bad. NAT 3 is your bad connection while NAT 1 or 2 tends to be your great/standard (moderate) connection. Info on that here: https://portforward.com/nat-types/
