Need help with Xbox Rewards.

I signed up for the xbox live rewards program stuff and i guess i was a little confused on how it works, i read everything before i signed up and still didnt understand kinda confused, need help.

Will I lose my Microsoft rewards points when Xbox live rewards takes over?

The Microsoft Rewards pogram is not changing. The Xbox Rewards program is turning into the Microsoft Rewards program. So you would not lose any Microsoft Rewards points.

With the rewards program you can earn rewards credits for completing offers. All offers are listed on the Missions page of the Rewards site. Once you earn credits, they are added as pending to your rewards account. Credits are deposited into your Microsoft
account as currency by the following 15th or 30th of the month after you have at least 5,000 credits pending. If you have at least 1,000 pending (but less than 5,000) You can request a deposit and the credits will be deposited on the date listed on the site
at the time that you make the request.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December
2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your non-offer purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).
