Need help with xbox cables.

I have a Dell U2312hm monitor. It has DVI, VGA, and Dp inputs. I have DVI hooked up to it on my PC, and need to hook my xbox up to it. I have VGA right now but the quality is terrible. I bought an hdmi female to displayport male adapter, as well as an HDMI
HDMI male male wire. I hooked everything up with the DP adapter and nothing worked. I changed the input to DP and it said it couldn't find a signal. I tested out the cable on another monitor and it still didn't work. Help please

xbox connected to comp and not recognized! PLEASE HELP

guys i need help i plugged in my blue cable into the xbox put it in my router and it keeps coming up with the message please connect ethernet cable!

Astro A50 Xbox One set up

Just a quick question. I've decided I'm going to buy some A50's for my Xbox One. Other than the Xbox One headset adapter to enable voice chat, do I need to buy anything else seperately, e.g. an optical cable or usb cable, or will everything be in the box?

You will need to check that the ethernet cables you are using are CAT5 or CAT6 as the older cables might not pick up on the xbox.

My Xbox One is losing connection to my TV too. I'm using a cable box and every day I have unplug the Xbox to restore TV picture. It's not the HDMI cables or sittings, I've switched and tried numerous combinations. The only thing that restores live TV is
rebooting the Xbox One console. This issue just started recently I see a LOT of people are experiencing the problem starting at around the same time. This suggests a firmware problem to me.

Yes, I'm having problems trying to watch TV through my Virgin tivo box and my Samsung smart TV a 2013 model!? Can't get it to work? And I've only had my Xbox one and Kinect for a short while and after close inspection, I see their is scratches all over the
top next to the top fan! I feel very upset, if i paid for a new car you would not expect to have scratches on it. I have been a member of Xbox gold live for over 11 years and have throughly enjoyed my Xbox 360,But I can't say the same for my Xbox one console,
I feel disappointed . I have spent thousands of pounds on Microsoft through many years,And not happy about having to pay for a music pass! I'm going to ring Microsoft tomorrow and hopefully get a replacement without scratches.

Hi All, I had this issue with a Dish Hopper. I fixed it, it's kind of funny that M$ doesn't hire the right people to test this stuff. Need to hire people who are consumers not just because they have a college degree form some stupid college that doesn't
teach them ***.

Fix: Go to settings Turn off HDMI-CEC, CEC is to turn of the TV when you turn off the receiver, of course the Xbox is suppose to do this. Xbox needs to do a patch to ignore this signal so it doesn't do the signal lose.

I have 3 Xbox Ones and it was only happening on the XB1 that I had with my hopper, and wasn't effecting the XB1 with the Joeys, so I compared setting and found that this is the only one that HDMI-CEC turned on. Once I turned it off the issue of signal lose
was resolved.

Need help with xbox cables.
