Need help with WiFi connection on series s

Hi, my Xbox Series S is connected to WiFi but I will try directly connecting it to my router. My games were installed directly to the Xbox Series S but I just bought a external SSD drive 5 minutes ago to move everything so I can have more room and incase i needed to reset my Xbox. Let's see if those changes will help. Otherwise I have nothing else connected to my Xbox Series S. I have no mobile hotspot currently.

Hello I am probably going to get a Xbox series s soon but I need to know because the Xbox I am trying to use to transfer data doesn’t want to connect to internet for some reason but if I connect that Xbox to a Ethernet cord it connects to wifi is it okay if I use a Ethernet cord

Just remember that when you transfer games that were originally installed via physical disc, to an Xbox Series S, they will be unplayable since you need to insert the disc to launch the game and the Series S does not have a disc drive.

There are a few things you can try to resolve this issue:



1. Make sure your Xbox Series S is within range of your WiFi network and that the network is turned on and broadcasting.



2. Restart your Xbox Series S and try connecting to the network again.



3. Check that your WiFi network is not hidden. If it is, you will need to manually enter the network name and password.



4. Try resetting your network settings on your Xbox Series S. To do this, go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

It’s currently downloading. It will be done in 30 minutes. Now my Xbox series s isn’t trying to connect wirelessly to my wifi.

connection was fine yesterday it just happened today.

i have a xbox series s.

im with sky for wifi sadly.

and everything else is connected to the internet fine.
