    Need help with TV tuner


    Hi I hope someone can help me with a little problem I am having with the TV tuner.

    I recently purchased the TV tuner and set it up one my Xbox one with no problems it picks up all channel's no problem and works fine the problem is that often when I tell the Xbox to change channel it will restart the setup process again and I have to go
    through setting up my TV and the tuner all over again needless to say this gets very annoying after awhile so if anyone can help it will be very much appreciated.

    Sling TV now live on XB1

    Microsoft just needs to release the digital TV tuner in the US now to complete the tradeoff.

    Kinect 2 / tv tuner

    Sorry this has been asked enough already, google isnt much help..

    does the kinect have the tv tuner built in?

    if i buy the £25 tv tuner, does it need to be connected to a standard tv coax cable? Or is the tv tuner an actual arial? So chances are i may not recieve a signal? How does it work?

    i'm pretty gutted to be honest, i have owned a xbox one for 1 day and finding out i need to spend excess of £125 to make it do what the things it was advertised doing on the release video and tv adverts.

    USB Digital TV Tuner no longer finds any channels after disconnecting, reconnecting and rescanning

    This may be irrelevant, but I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app,
    and the TV tuner uses the TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through
    the XB1's USB port AND an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!

    TV Tuner only works on side USB socket

    Is it the offical xbox tv tuner, i have that and it's working perfectly in the back USB port.

    Try uninstalling and then installing the tv app while the tuner is in the back port, that might help.

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the Microsoft Xbox One Digital TV Tuner. Most TV signal problems are due to either a bad signal coming into the tuner or TV settings on your Xbox One that need adjusting. If
    your Xbox console is not displaying your TV signal, try the following:

    1. To test the signal, unplug your cable input from the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner and plug it directly into a TV or monitor. If your signal is still bad, consult the TV signal provider. If your signal is good, reconnect your input to the digital tuner and
      continue to the next step.
    2. Troubleshoot your TV settings. Try these options:
      • Use the troubleshooting help built into the TV setup app of the TV & OneGuide settings:
        1. Go to the Home screen.
        2. Press the Menu button on the controller.
        3. Select Settings.
        4. Select TV & OneGuide.
        5. Follow the prompts for Troubleshooting.
      • Check out the
        Troubleshoot         section of OneGuide and Live TV support.
    3. If these steps didn’t solve the problem, your tuner may need to be replaced. To order a new tuner, go to
      Device Support.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    I also have a Samsung tv with a built in tuner, however the Xbox One TV tuner is what you need to get OTA tv through the Xbox via oneguide without the need for a set top box, which is what I have running with no problems. If you are looking to get cable
    channels without a box, that's a totally different animal though.
