    Need Help With Refund. Getting angry with how [Mod Removed – Profanity] xbox support is now.


    So my XBOX Live ran out on Oct 15th, 2018. Then on Oct 16th, 2018 I added a 14 day Gold Code to my account. I was planning to renew my XBOX Live on the 18th or 19th. So I then attempted to grab the latest free Games With Gold game Hitman- Blood Money.
    Thinking it would be free, but was instead charger $22.59 for it. So now I need a refund on this. So I can get the free version when I properly renew my Gold. I contacted phone support. Which was a nightmare to actually figure out how to get someone to contact
    me now. Was informed I had to do an online Request a Refund. Which I did and got an e-mail back saying they could not find my order. Contacted phone support again to explain the situation and was informed they could do nothing. The request a refund form is
    useless. They have no way to actually talk to someone or a space type anything out to explain the problem. XBOX support has turned to [Mod Removed – Profanity] and is completely useless now. I'm getting very angry about this situation. XBOX support use to
    be so much better. I feel like they make customers try to jump through all these hoops. Hoping the customer will just give up so they don't actually have to help them anymore.

    ok i bought assassins creed odyssey and red dead redemption 2 the 20 june 2018 ( 4 month ago) perfecly downloaded on my xbox and when the new assassins creed was released i try to open it that day and the message
    [Mod Removed - Profanity] told me im not the owner of this game or may be refund. So I chat on xbox support with REDA and ask her why this could be possible. She told me that
    the transaction was not done on my card that day who I personnaly know that it was done and she told me theres only red dead 2 who was purchase on my card. So I was
    [Mod Removed - Profanity] frustrated because no one told me that was refund, only my xbox told me the day it released
    [Mod Removed - Profanity]. So i make sure with her that red dead was clearly offically well purchase on my card and I said ok ill buy assassins creed another time so i wait and wait and wait for red dead redemption 2 and guess
    what happened [Mod Removed - Profanity] yesterday,,,,, the same damn
    [Mod Removed - Profanity]things happen to it with the same. Every day i cliked on the red dead icon because i was to exited to start and there was alaway a message say uyou have to wait the release date. So i had to wait till yesterday
    to get reckt buy microsoft.

    Is someone know [Mod Removed - Profanity] is happend because i cant find anymore the chat room for xbox support or any legit phone number.

    I bought this game 4 months ago because I knew I probably not gonna have money at this time of the year.

    Beleive me im the saddest [Mod Removed - Profanity] guy on earth right now Help Help Help please

    Did you have a receipt in your e-mail from Microsoft for the purchase? That would have the order number they would need. As to a refund, you may have a problem, as I don't believe Xbox 360 content can be refunded. I do wish you luck ...

    regards to reversing the payment, you would need to submit a refund request.

    I do have the order e-mail. It doesn't have any order number on it. But it does have a confirmation number on the e-mail. Which I gave them. However I gave them the date I received the e-mail which was October 16th. This said they could not see any orders
    for this date. Which is dumb. What couldn't they use the confirmation number to find the order. When I looked at the e-mail again. I notice the actual order date for the other is for October 17th. Interesting how the e-mail was received on the 16th but somehow
    the order was actually made on the 17th. They really can't find the order because I was 1 day off. They must be pretty stupid if they can't see the same name of the game on the order or use the confirmation number to find it. I resubmitted the request a refund
    with the correct date. However I have a feeling that even if they do find the order they are going to refuse the refund and I will be out $22 for a game that is suppose to be free right now.

    I'm sorry to hear it's been a hassle. The best way to go off about this now would be to contact Live Support since you've already processed the form it may be faster to just contact them. The system to contact support has changed.

    I already contacted phone support twice. Was told I would have to use the request a refund form both times. Even after I explained the situation. They are useless and can't do anything to help. XBOX support use to be so much better then what we have now.

    Sorry for the run around you are getting. When you go to the order history on the account do you see the charge? You can check order history right on the Xbox console Settings>account>payment & Billing> Order History.

    I know you been told this but I recommend requesting a callback again.

    When you go to
    Contact Us
    :

    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select no thanks
    • Step 3-----select games
    • Step 4 ----select request a call from support
    Once they call explain thee issue and they will be able to help you.

    The support agent should help you, due to it was purchased un-intentionally.

    Whenever you make a purchase, a price is provided and also there is a confirmation screen. If you knowingly saw the purchase price, the terms and conditions in regards to refunds, and continued with it all, then in Support's eyes, this may not turn out in
    your favour.

    As you have been previously advised by Support to fill out a Refund form, our best advice now, will be to await a response.

    Wrong! When you grab a Games With Gold XBOX 360 Game. It does show the full price and say its Free. Which it did. But when it click to buy it the next screen that appears always shows the full price of the game. Everything looked like it always has. Until
    I got the e-mail for the purchased. You are not suppose to get an e-mail when the game is actually free.

    Also glad to know you are so perfect and you don't make mistakes.

    Also good to know you didn't bother to read what I wrote. I said I already used the request a refund and they said they could not find my order and that phone support could not help me with this problem. So telling me to do the same thing I have already
    have done is not very helpful. Hence my comment about how lousy XBOX Support is now.

    When you called support did they see the order? If so I would call them back, or request call back. Eventually a agent should help you out.

    I know this doesn't help with the refund situation, but just for future reference, 360 Games with Gold do not work with gold trials, only the Xbox One games do. This is why you were charged. Once games require a gold subscription in order to continue playing
    them for free so they do let you get them on trials, but 360 games do not and require a full gold subscription in order to get them for free.

    Actually, he is right about that. On the payment confirmation screen it updates with the price you're about to pay. If it's free the payment changes to 0.00. If it shows an actual price, then that is what you are being charged unless you cancel the transaction.
    Since you're on a trial subscription and not a full subscription, that's why it showed you the price and charged you for the game.
