need help with ports i think

my bo3 keeps either being moderat or strict totally ruining the game as havnt been able to play for ages wont even give me new maps just the same ones i started wi soke to internet provider who told me contact xbox for ports but wentto live chat and they
told me couldnt help can any one

Need Help With Port Forwarding

I have the same issue. And it isn't with every game I play. Only some online servers kick me from game but party chat stays active and some games work perfectly fine along with twitch, and netflix. I would assume it's a certain port
being blocked by our routers firewall but I wouldn't know where to begin with opening a certain port. Hope we can get this figured out.

Need Help With Port Forwarding

About a week and a half ago my xbox one and PS4 both starting kicking me literally from every game server. My connection is hard wired and even apps like Netflix and Hbo Go still stream with absolutely no issue. Had my internet company come out (Mediacom)
and they had never seen anything like it and were absolutely no help with the issue. If anyone out there has the simplest idea to why and how this happened, along with a solution to fix it would be extremely helpful.

Hello, ports are a strange thing, I opened the ports that Call of duty uses and that was what was causing my nat problems. But you can try it yourself. Call of duty runs one quite a few ports and the ones that are needed are as followed:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

UDP Port 3544 (UDP)

UDP Port 4500 (UDP)

There is also (but not needed):

3075 (UDP)

3076 (UDP)

I hope this helps, if it doesn't than get back to me and we will troubleshoot the problem a little more. If you don't know what port forwarding is you can quickly google your router and follow a guide easily on how to access your ports.

Could you run a network diagnostic test on your console and have us know the outcome of your NAT type from that test.

Go to Xbox Network Settings and perform a 'Multiplayer test'. When this test has finished, press and hold (simultaneously) LB+RB+LT+RT and wait for the additonal test to finish.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

I know how frustrating it can be for your NAT to be strict or closed. I would recommend contacting spectrum support for help since they know more about this specific router than I do.

In every COD I've played this problems happens to me, what I do is going to network setting on the console and check multiple times my NAT type until it works
