Need help with NEW QUANTUM GATEWAY ROUTER and trying to open NAT

Hi all.....I have done this before on many routers but for some ungodly reason I can not get this thing to OPEN. I need help badly because my connection has crashed over 3 times now trying to play Destiny. I rented the game for $2 and for most of the night
I have been either crashing or downloading forever. Any help in getting my connection back to OPEN would be GREATLY appreciated. I checked the hardware section also and of course NEW ROUTER....so not updated for that one yet. Thanks!

Xbox live connection

It sounds like you are trying to run two consoles through the same Gateway with a Restricted NAT, turning on UPnP Wont help this nether will Port Forwarding. You need to go into your Router and Open up the Router to Full Cone NAT. When you do this you should
get a Full Open Gateway so both of your consoles can connect to Xbox Live, if you leave it Restricted Cone NAT, Symmetric NAT, or Port-Restricted NAT you will continue to have connection issues.

How do you fix error code 0x89234013?

This is the support article for double NAT. Basically seems like it's an issue with having your gateway and your router doing the same tasks.

Double NAT Detected in Xbox One Network Settings

The more simple your network the less things there are to go wrong. If you have a router and a gateway and can get yourself to just the gateway you'll be better off.

"Your network is behind a cone NAT"....that is open nat , but your using a gateway plus a router ? is the gateway in bridge mode ?

The modem /router combo is a "gateway".......never could get mine (or any of my friends) to work very well , mess with the settings and it would open for a while then revert.....got a cheap netgear modem and a cheap netgear router and never looked back ,
no need to forward or anything but you may need to assign a static ip .....open nat ever since....most gateways seem to have a hard time with upnp and nat for some reason....plus your "bridge mode" can cause a double nat methinks......

As for the double Nat you are using a Gateway and router? If so what is happening the Xbox console is trying to connect to both. What you can try is turning off the router and connect directly to the gateway with router off and see if able to connect. If
you are you can view
double nat detected in the area with using a gateway and router talks about bridging the gateway.
