Need help with my Microsoft account

Had Xbox live for a few years and always paid monthly via direct debit. I tried to log into my Xbox live account on Wednesday but couldn't get in. I went to Microsoft but had to change my details as I don't use the email I had when I set up my microsoft
account. I changed the details but was told that it would take 24hours to update. That was 3 days ago and I still can't get into the account to set up a new direct debit for Xbox live. Can anybody help me please?

Need help with Microsoft accounts

Hello,

I recently got a new computer with windows ten and ran into a bit of a debacle. When I was younger, my father set up an Xbox live account for me under his Microsoft account. Fast forward to today, and his account still holds onto the Xbox live gamertag
that only I use. However I have my own Microsoft account that I use on my new computer and I can't use any of the Xbox app stuff without having to be logged into my dads Microsoft account.

All the information I've seen has been related to managing only one account, where I want to move information from one to the other. There's an option to do so on the 360 but when I attempted to do so it just told to visit the Xbox account support website.

Is there any way I can fix this or will I just have to take over my Dads Microsoft account?

I am afraid you will have to use a console that has the beta update if yours does not. Is it possible somebody downloaded your account to a console that has the beta update? If so, your profile is now part of the beta. While it may be that your console
is not. If that happened your only choice is to wait until the full version of the update is available to the public this fall, or as I said, use a console that has the beta. But, if your console has the beta, I would think that you would be able to transfer
money to your family account if they are on the same console.

If your account got hacked, the only option to try to recover the account is to fill the recovery form from Microsoft. In the article below you can get detailed information on how to fill the form:

If you receive the message that the account does not exist anymore when trying to recover it, you will not be able to recover. I'm sorry.

Not even the Microsoft official support can help you with account recovery. You can try to talk to them but they usually will only tell you to fill the recovery form.
