Need help with my email address.

Hi. I miss spelled my email adress for my xbox live account.

How can i get it changed?? I only miss spelled it wrong by one letter. So thats why i didnt notice.

Thanks for your help. We are signed in with my email. We clicked new and entered my son's email and this is what we got when we tried to verify:

Incorrect email address

The Microsoft account that you signed in with is not the email address that needs verification. To verify the correct email address, follow the instructions in your verification email message, and then sign in with the email address referenced in that message.

I agree with Spitfire.

If they can't help, email the chaps from the Major Nelson podcast who have shared their email addresses (Larry, Eric, Laura) and plead for their intervention.

Other than that, email Podcast Unlocked and ask how they handle the excessive following. They might have some suggestions.

Thats alot off trouble just to change one letter in my email address

 

You only need to follow the steps in the 'Notes' section if your current email already has a gamertag associated with it.

In your case, I assume you musn't need to do this, you only need to follow the first 9 steps listed

 

I dont really understsnd that tho. Its sounds tricky
