    Need help with lagging/hacking sound on my headset


    Need help. Have lagging/hacking sound from my Razor Kraken Headset for Xbox One. Dont know if its the headset or the stereo adapter thats wrong. Its Razors own adapter that was included. Sound works well on TV, but starts hacking/lagging when i use the headset
    and the adapter. Dont play online, so i can't say if the mic is working.

    I have confirmed that both the adapter and the cable is mounted correctly and i can't push it in any further. Tested it on all my controllers.

    I can't use it if the sound gets laggy/hacks every other second, but i still want a working headset.

    Dont know if this is related, but i also get sound on the tv at the same time. So it goes double, but at the same time it works great on the tv, but hacks/lags on the headset. So what can i do to stop the sound also coming from the TV when i use the headset?
    Can be good to know when i have a working one.

    Since this is my first headset and adapter i ordered a official Xbox One Stereo Headset and are awaiting delivery.

    I will see if the official adapter and headset is working better then Razor Kraken.

    Dont really know what to do with the kraken headset for now, but i need all your inputs and suggestions.

    Especially if you all also have the same sound issues with different headsets or similar problems.

    Or if you have the same headset as i have and don't experience any problems at all. I might have a broken product.

    Will see if i can return it for a refund.

    Still need help though.

    Xbox elite controller AUX problem

    So about 8 months ago my girlfriend gave me the Elite controller as a gift.

    Today when i was playing halo 5 i noticed that the sound was lagging and sometimes getting cut out and now i cant hear anything thorugh the headset connected to my controller.

    I tried to use the headset on my phone and it worked just fine, then i tried another headset on my controller and still get no sound.

    Help please?

    And yes i have tried to swith batteries in the controller

    I have muted my TV to shut of the sound from my TV when I use the headset, to avoid echo and to wake up those around me.

    But I still have problem with the headset sound.

    I have updated both console and my 2 controllers. The adapter was connected to one of my controls during the procedure. Don't know if I have to do anything more.

    It all came up automatically when I had my console running.

    But I will try again tonight, and see if it works.

    Seems to be working better now. I tried to update the controllers again, with the adapter connected. But they already had the latest update. Console had it to.

    Tried playing with the sound on my TV of, and only using the headset.

    It did not lag/hack/shutter as before. Only on rare occations, so it seem to be working much better now.

    I also hear audio through my TV

    The Stereo Headset Adapter doesn’t know if you’re using your headset just for chat or for all audio, so TV audio is not automatically muted when you’re using the adapter. You must manually adjust your TV audio volume
    Also have you updated your controller and the headset adapter ?

    How do headsets work on the xb1?

    You still need to purchase a headset that has surround sound available on it. The Xbox is not able to make a stereo headset give surround sound. Hope this helps!

    Of course kill cams are not actual recordings of what happened, more a reenactment, that is why they can sometimes be very inaccurate at times, and they also be affected by lag, but as far as i know the XB1 has not been hacked.

    But there are people who know every single place and tactic and wall people might hid behind, and of course we have those surround sound headsets. lol
