My xbox one will not let me update i have contacted xbox support and they told me I need help. My xbox is enrolled in the insider program as well.

Have you perhaps tried resetting the console

XBox Insiders Forum is the site to post this question for a definitive answer, provided by staff.

A factory reset is more than likely the way forward, as that is the way to change down to lower rings or leave the program.
