Need help with home xbox.

Hi . I was playing some destiny and turned off my xbox one . The next day I turned on my xbox I saw that my friend wasn't my home xbox anymore and when I try turning it back to my home xbox it said it couldn't . I am very dissapointed in this that it automatically
changed to be not my home xbox and I can't change it back . Help please ?

"You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period. This period works on a rolling basis, starting the moment you change your home Xbox for the first time. For example, if you make your console your home Xbox for the
first time on January 1st, and then change it two more times, on February 1st and March 1st, you will not be able to change it again until January 1st of the following year. The next time you'll be able to change it after that will be on the following February
1st, and then again on March 1st. Please make a note of the dates when you change your console to your home Xbox so that you'll know when you can change its designation again. When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move
to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your old "home" Xbox."

So, one year from the first time it was changed it will be available to set again.

If you can't change it because you've already used it 3 times, you can try contacting support to see if there is anything they can do, but otherwise you will have to wait the year. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
support.xbox.com/contact-us

You cant automatically change a home console

If you are home consoling everytime you goto a friends house you shouldnt 3 x a year should bemore thrn enough

If you are going to a frends house you login into your profile and install thr game to temporary access to it

No meed to home console as it is a roaming license

You should not be homeconsoling everytime

Unless you are doing something you shouldnt be doing like sharing games

Home console should ne the main console and anytime you are at another console you use your account to login
