    I need help changing my child account to an adult account, I am no longer a part of a family but the restrictions are still there making it so i cant use some features or change some settings.

    Any input would be greatly appreciated

    Unable to download RP rated games/demos

    So all I need to do completely turn off family safety settings?

    well thats incorrect

    @op very important did you edit the online safety settings or was it just the family settings

    yes there is a difference

    online safety settings set purchases and ratings

    family settings prevent certain games from being played

    so if you just edited the family settings it won't help unless you goto the family settings and online safety settings

    the only thinmg this does not effect is the advertising like m rated demos and trailers as they are advertising not purchased games

    and fall under advertising laws
