    hi i need help with the custom gamer pictures im 16 and my age has been changed and my settings are on adult is there anyway else I can change this so i can get a custom gamer pic.

    Promote a chid account to an adult account

    I want to have a custom gamer picture but it says I need an adult account to do so. However I do not know how to promote an account, please help.

    The age on your account cannot be changed. Even if it has been changed on account.microsoft.com it does not carry over to the gamertag.

    The age on your account cannot be changed. Even if it has been changed on account.microsoft.com it does not carry over to the gamertag.

    Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

    I understand you need help in changing your gamer picture from your PC.

    You can actually do this using the Xbox companion app, if you do not have the app yet on your PC, please download this app from the Microsoft store.

    Once you open the app, sign in to your account.

    Once signed in, Click on your current profile image on the left side of the app.

    Click Customize on the next page.

    Click on the big circle where the picture should set to customize your gamer picture.

    Then click on choose a custom picture. You should be able to select the image you want to add to your gamer picture.

    Cannot upload custom gamerpic 'there was a problem'

    Hello!

    From the Windows 10 app, click on your gamer pic, then customize, then hover over your current picture. The picture will dim with a customize button appearing, click on that, and It will prompt to choose a gamer pic or select a custom picture.
