Need help with a gifted subscription to gold

Hey. So I was gifted 3 months of Xbox live Gold a day ago and and accidentally upgraded to Xbox Gamepass ultimate I refunded that but it Seems to have cancelled my gold aswell which is obviously not what I wanted. I was wondering if I could somehow get
just the gold back as it would be a real shame if my friends who gifted me the gold had their money go to waste.

You would have to try contacting support and speak to billing to see if there is anything they can do, but it's not guaranteed. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Anytime you have just gold/game pass and you purchase Ultimate, the remaining time you have from your standard gold/game pass subscription is cancelled and upgraded to Ultimate for the same amount of time and cannot be reverted. That's why when you cancelled
Ultimate, it cancelled the Gold as well.

You need to be gold to get on Xbox Live to download the gifts. They are sweet gifts. Get a month subscription if you want the cars.

No. A Gold card would add a Gold subscription to your account. You would need an Xbox gift card if you're looking to add funds to your account.

Unfortunately you can not purchase Xbox Live Gold with prepaid gift cards but would rather need to buy an Xbox Live Gold subscription or swtup a payment option such as paypal or credit.
