Need Help unlinking controller

i have recently been trying to disconnect my xbox one controller from my xbox console. I didn’t know if there was a way to do this, but there is, can someone please help me?

If you sync the controller to another Xbox or to a PC it should no longer be bound to the original Xbox. I am still not clear on why you want to remove the controller from its current Xbox?

You can bind the controller to another console with the standard binding method. Is there a reason you think you need to "unbind" the controller?
