Need help signing into my previous Microsoft account that is associated with my Minecraft...

Hey! My name is Ali. I'm not sure if you still need help figuring this out or not--but here is what fixed it for me:

Go to the Microsoft Store on your PC. From here, check whatever account you are signed into.

If you are signed into a different account from what your Minecraft account is associated with, then sign out and sign back into your MC associated account.

Example:

I was signed into my Microsoft Store with the email "email1". However, my Microsoft account that had been associated with MC was tied to "email2"

So, I signed out of my "email1" email, and signed into my "email2" email in Microsoft Store. Then I booted up the MC Launcher again and it worked just fine.

However, if you are signed into the correct account, I suggest making sure all of your Windows's features are up to date (check in settings app), uninstall/reinstall MC launcher, and make sure there are no updates needed inside the Microsoft Store to the MC launcher itself.

If you signed in with a new Microsoft account on your PS5, you will not be able to access your old Minecraft account that was linked to your previous Microsoft account.

To access your old Minecraft account, you will need to sign in to your PS5 with your old Microsoft account credentials. If you cannot remember your password, you can try to reset it using the Microsoft Account Recovery page.

If you are still unable to access your old Minecraft account, you may need to contact Minecraft support for further assistance. They may be able to help you recover your account or link your new Microsoft account to your old Minecraft account.

Each 360 account can be associated with a Live account.

Currently I have:

old 360 account -> associated with my Live account but with the old gamertag

new 360 account -> associated with my Live account but with the new gamertag

The new account got created when I downloaded my profile using my microsoft sign in. The old account was associated with the same microsoft sign in but it didn't recognize my gamertag change. Now it won't let me sign in to live because it asks for my microsoft
sign in details. I'm guessing the sign in fails because it's trying to find the microsoft account associated with the old gamertag.

I either need to somehow transfer my saves over to the new 360 account so I can upload them to the cloud, or I need someway for my Xbox to realize that my gamertag changed on the old account so I can sign into live again with that account.

I have been contact with Minecraft support for possibilities to recover my Minecraft account. They mentioned my Minecraft account is associated with my original Microsoft account. Not the newly reopened account, even I used the same email address for reopened Microsoft account. In this case, what should I do? Can you help me associate or link my newly reopened account to my original account which the hacker deleted? If not, does it mean all my purchase with my original Microsoft account will be lost?

Microsoft owns Minecraft. Therefore, a Microsoft account is required to play the game.

If you want to play with friends on different platforms or join Realms on Minecraft for PlayStation, you will need to link a Microsoft account to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. Here is how to do that.

Launch Minecraft on your PlayStation.

Select Sign in with a Microsoft account on the title screen.

Visit the code redemption site on a browser.

Input the code that your game is displaying.

Sign in to the Microsoft account you want associated with your PlayStation account.

Note: only one Microsoft account can be associated with any PlayStation account at any one time. If the account you are trying to sign into has already been linked, you will need to use a different one.
