    I set up my son on an xbox 360 using my email address but his details and we have had numerous problems re child settings ever since.. I don't recall setting myself up at the same time. We have just bought an Xbox One and on trying to play ROBLOX he finds
    he is unable to access it, so I created another Microsoft account, set myself up on his xbox and tried to invite him to the family but it seems from his Microsoft account that he is unable to as he is already a member of a family (there was another user he
    set up but didn't think this was an adult level one and it hasn't transferred across to xbox one) and cannot join a new family without leaving his old one which due to child restrictions he is unable to do... we are literally pulling our hair out trying to
    find a solution. I now have him as a user on new xbox one, me as a user on xbox one, we are both ms account holders and he is unable to join my family, how can this be sorted or his privacy settings changed without this stumbling block, so frustrating.

    How do I re add the child account to the family?

    I've deleted the child acount from the family on Xbox 360 stupidly by accident. I've gone back to family settings on both the adult and child account and can't seem to find anything to help. I need to add the account again because whenever my kid logs
    in it says something about having a parent account not connected but that's because I removed the child account. Help. Me. I'm. Dying. How do I re add the child account to the family?

    Xbox live gold membership

    You don't need to buy separate gold for each account.

    You can set Child 1's Xbox as child 2's home Xbox, then only buy gold for Child 2's account.

    I hope that makes sense, if not I can re-explain.

    If you are using your Xbox with a child account, you need a parent to log in to the Xbox and change the settings for the child account.

    If the Xbox settings web page is re-directing you to the support page, then I would say you are using a child account.

    You will need to ask the adult account that your account is linked with to change the setting on the page link I provided.

    Thanks for bringing this inquiry to our attention here on the forums. I understand you're having issues setting up your Settings on a child account is that correct? You will need to sign into an adult account that is a member of the same Microsoft Family
    as the child account to change the settings for the child account.
