NEED HELP PLEASE :(

HI All,

Having system update failed. All I get is

Can't update your console. status code - 3151-335A-B380-0502-COOO-0058.

I can't get to my dashboard or settings because as soon as I power up it try's to update, Tried going on a Binary to Decimal to Hexadecimal Converter site but it didn't work It gave me update ( Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 2.0.13146.0 Download with
Avatars ) I tried it on usb stick and cd but no joy, I also tried the one where you close the cd draw half way and power up but still no joy, anyone have any ideas what I can try?

if i were you i would call xbox support that looks like a very specific error code only they can help you fix.

 

tried Xbox support they didn't no what the error code was, I mean why make an error code and then not have an answer for it

 

Sorry to hear you're having issues updating your console. I have done some research online regarding the error code that you posted. The results that I found suggest that you may be using a modded console.

I could find no other information on this.

If you would like to double check that result then I would recommend contacting @xboxsupport on Twitter and let them know the error code. Perhaps they'll be able to give you a better or more accurate one.

thanks for taken the time for me. its a second hand Xbox got it a month ago didn't think about it mite be modded thanks will try Xbox support on Twitter and get back to you

 

I'm not understanding your first post--did you try to download the update using Xbox.com and then putting it on USB/CD media?

 

Just be aware Lucky that if the console is modded no one will be able to help you as modding consoles is against the ToU and CoC of the Live service and could result in the console being banned.

 

yes download the update and tried both USB/CD but no joy. used a Hexadecimal Converter to find out which update I needed. I don't no if the console is modded I got it about a month ago second hand

looks like I've got to bin my Xbox, Xbox support don't no what status code - 3151-335A-B380-0502-COOO-0058 is, why make an error code to pin point a problem and then not have an answer to fix it lol what a joke

 

do a search on the last 8 digits of the code (c000 - 0058). you'll see the info I came up with. sorry you're having such a rough time with the console.
