Need Help, Object in Disc Tray

So my son shoved a credit card into my xbox one and it decided to eat it, I can't even see the credit card in there, it will take discs but I suspect the card is covering the disc reading device since it wont read the discs. Please help does anyone know
how I can get this fixed, I'm pretty handy myself just not sure how to go about this one.

Disc tray problem.

Forgot to add, if you do try cleaning it stick something like a remote control between the hole in the disc tray and the body of the Xbox just in case you knock the tray and it attempts to close, the object you place inbetween will keep it from closing/

 

XBOX 360 disc tray keeps jamming

This happened to my 360 Elite as well. Screw the warranty, open it up, and get any dust out. Make sure the gears for the tray are working and get some grease or something on them. It worked for me when this started happening and I still play on my elite. You may be able to find some YouTube videos to help you with this if needed. This is one of the biggest reasons why I hate disc trays for consoles.

If you don't plan on getting it serviced by a professional

Google 'how to open xbox1' or similar

There will be someone who has posted a how to video

Doing this will instantly void your warranty

Here is a Xbox Support article on how to manually eject a disc if it happens to get stuck. You could try doing this to see if it forces the card out:

If that does not work I would not suggest any home repairs since that will void your warranty. If you are covered by warranty a repair should be free for you.

 

I agree With McShoop, home repairs should be avoided as the will woid Your warranty..

The link is the one for uk residents (posted that as an example as I don't know what country you're from) to get to correct page/info for you go to the bottom left on the page and click on the country listed there, that will take you to a "contry/region"
selector where you can select Your country..

I assume that You'll need to pay to have it serviced as a credit card in the disc drive is a user error, but I rater recomed that instead of going at it Yourself..

 

Thank you for the responses, I had already attempted to get to the disc drive by opening the casing up, I decided not to go past that though as everything seems to delicate. I got the card out with some tough love and a butter knife. Also I've been out of
warranty for a month or so now. Thank you all though
