Need help! Nothing appearing on screen

When i turn on my xbox one the green loading screen.will appear for about 15-30 seconds then it chanhes to a blank black screen with nothing on it and does not change again ? Someone please help me

Anything change recently? Any noise? Have you tried this:

support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console (Make sure to read the whole page, not just the top)

Thank you for the advice. I had previously tried this numerous times and still my xbox wont work. Thank you for the help though

Assuming that it is connected to your Xbox Via HDMI ... Then yes it does need to be on. Reason being that if it is to transfer over to your TV the Xbox Needs to be powered ON. If it isn't then nothing is going to appear on the screen.

Really!?? Did microsoft do this so the xbox consoles will wear out faster? Bummer!
