I'm stuck behind a 'port preserving port symmetric NAT'

Unsure how to go about fixing this issue, never seen this issue before and I'm above average in knowledge of networky things so feel free to throw long words at me.

i would contact xbox support directly. they have been quite helpful with my needs and issues.

the other thing to try is reseting the mac address.. its in settings, network, advanced do the restart and see what happens from their.

xbox dashboard issues..

bumping it back up for anyone who may need the help.. ive still had a few issues and thi tends to fix it off the bat.. if not a hard reset..

Please go to Settings > Network > Advance Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart

That depends. If your parents set up the family settings, then you'll have to talk to your parents about it.

Keep in mind, that in order to prevent smart kids from finding a default reset code and disabling the parental controls without their parent's knowing, you can't remove the code yourself easily.You will need a special reset code that is calculated from the
console's serial number.

If the family settings have been accidentally turned on, you'll have to contact the official Xbox support at
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

there you'll have to confirm that you're an adult, and give them the console serial number.

Then they'll walk you through the family settings reset process.

I had my xbox at a friends house and one of their kids just put it on and they cant remember and I'm a 20 year old so I don't think my parents don mind
