Need help making MC server

MC is a video game. Saying otherwise is just ridiculous. MC has a weak tacked on official story because certain types of people think it needed one, it didn't. In fact the whole point of MC is you make the story as you go along. Go play on a server with
some friends. All those adventures, deaths, discoveries, ect are the story. Use your imagination, it helps.

I have found a solution, though. I wanted to make a Minecraft server in order to make a video wherein I poke fun at MC anarchy servers such as 2b2t and how most players hack on servers like 2b2t. Instead, I used a singleplayer world where I would act like a regular MC player, then I changed my skin to make it look like I'm another player and from there I could make a video.

Hey! My name is Ali. I'm not sure if you still need help figuring this out or not--but here is what fixed it for me:

Go to the Microsoft Store on your PC. From here, check whatever account you are signed into.

If you are signed into a different account from what your Minecraft account is associated with, then sign out and sign back into your MC associated account.

Example:

I was signed into my Microsoft Store with the email "email1". However, my Microsoft account that had been associated with MC was tied to "email2"

So, I signed out of my "email1" email, and signed into my "email2" email in Microsoft Store. Then I booted up the MC Launcher again and it worked just fine.

However, if you are signed into the correct account, I suggest making sure all of your Windows's features are up to date (check in settings app), uninstall/reinstall MC launcher, and make sure there are no updates needed inside the Microsoft Store to the MC launcher itself.
