    Need help, lost my savegame in Forza Horizon 3!


    Welp...

    sooo... yesterday i wanted to play some forza and, well... it wouldnt start... went ahead and googled, as you do, found out about a reset for the forza horizon 3 app, did that and it started again. All good so far. Loaded up the game, and then it said :
    Cloud files syncing. It took forever, and after it was done, my game save, with over 200 hours played was gone. So now ive tried restarting my PC, reinstalling forza, and all those things.. You are my only hope now ... Need help, lost my savegame in Forza Horizon 3! :(

    if you want to know how, or what i meant by reset, i used the following steps:

    firstly i went to the start menu, and typed in apps and features, clicked on that. scrolled down till i found fh3, clicked on it once i found it. Clicked on advanced options then. Once i did that, it said If the app is not working, reset it here. Below that
    message there was a "reset" button, so i clicked on that. Did all that, and my game was working, up untill the "syncing" thing...

    Thats about all... I just dont want to lose my savegame, over 200 hours wasted...

    Für den Erfolg "für immer forza" benötigt man ein Savegame aus forza 4 oder 3 (steht so beschrieben im Netz) um ein Savegame zu bekommen, habe ich bei forza 4 die Einführungsrunde gespielt, also das er speichert und ich mein Savegame habe. Nun habe ich horizon
    wieder rein und bin in die Werkstatt um zu schauen ob ich den Erfolg bekomme, da ich ja JETZT ein Savegame von forza 4 besitze, doch nichts...bekomme diesen nicht, aber warum??

    Hi,

    The answer given by
    Smwutches     is correct. If you’ve played the game online using an Xbox One console, your save games will automatically back up on the Xbox One cloud storage.

    Unless you had it backed up somewhere, there is no way to retrieve save progress.

    Hi, you can have a look if your savegame is under games & apps -> forza horizon 4 press the menu button and then look under manage game. This should normally be your savegame. If you start the game and
    there is no savegame, the savegame will be loaded from the cloud.

    If your savegame is there, but you start the game at zero, you might want to ask in the forza forum:
